Loss of power

Morning all,

Just a quickie before I phone the dealer.

Picked up my car last Thursday and drove it down to St Ives over the weekend with no noticeable problems. However, on the way home from work last night it seemed to momentarily lose power, it wouldn't have been so bad but I was joining the dual carriageway and under hard accelerating from 3rd to 4th when the problem occurred, i put the car back into 3rd and everything was fine not sure if it was turbo lag or is this a common problem or my driving style is to blame. Any advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks
