Has anyone any experience with one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/XtremeAuto®-Universal-Black-Aerial-Antenna/dp/B01KHPRAP0/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_263_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=BQEHAZ4D4XQK7P436SCN ?

Reviews for the Ford one MusicalChris suggests aren't too good on amazon - I guess its a very area specific thing!

The Richbrook one is metal.
The official Ford stubby one is rigid plastic.

Something else i learnt as never knew that,i did think Richbrook made them for ford same as a lot of other ford stuff that other top firms make for Ford and put the Ford logo on.

Richbrook licenses the ford name to put on their own stuff but doesn't actually make "for" Ford afaik (a bit like the Ford branded tools which are made by an outfit based in Hong Kong who bought the licence to the name on tools). I doubt Ford makes things like aerials themselves to be honest, probably farmed out to an OEM somewhere (or maybe even Visteon if they make that type of thing) who put a Ford part number on them.

Has anybody tried these?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-5-CARBON-CAR-AERIAL-BEE-STING-MAST-ANTENNA-ARIEL-ARIAL-MINI-RADIO-STUBBY/382950862865

TBH, i never use my radio as i always have my phone (spotify) or USB plugged in and listening to music from them. So not too much of a problem if it effects the radio signal, just curious before i get one.

Hi i have the longer version of this one  , its 6 inches less in size than my original antenna,  it works  the same , i also tried a very similar one like the one in your link it was 9.5 inch and from a different supplier on amazon , dab was fine but some fm channels went weak .

Hi I have the short stubby aerial and reception was pretty crap with original stereo , even though I think the triple dash looks well in the car I went ahead and changed to a jvc , reception a lot better , left Speakers as is and sound and reception pretty good now
