Fiesta MK6 Steering Wheel

I currently own an Fiesta MK6, and after just a few months the steering wheel started to peel, which apart from looking terrible, also feels quite annoying when trying to steer

So I saw a Fiesta MK6.5 wheel on eBay for £40 which is in perfect condition so bought it and got it now. I just want to make sure though before I go to get it fitted, am I right in thinking I can just remove the airbag from my MK6 and then use it again with the new MK6.5 steering wheel?

Not 100% sure but think the pre face lift has a different steering wheel to the face lifted model. Airbag's are a slightly different shape

The wheel looks to be very slightly different but the main central bit looks the same, and I've been told it will definitely fit my car. The airbags do look slightly different, but it looks to only be the front thats slightly different and the main shape of it the same though so I don't really know.

My steering wheel flaked just above the horn symbol to the left.

reported it to ford, they said it was my SWEAT!!! reacting with the leather :rolleyes: (It was like that when I bought just was starting to get worse)

After my complaint on this pathetic excuse they replaced it free of charge :D
