Ford Focus iphone Mount

Hi all,

Hopefully someone will be able to recommend something for me. I am looking for a car mount for my iPhone 7. I have got a Ford Focus Mk3 & i use my iPhone as a sat nav. Just wanted to see what people would recommend. I have used the ones that stick on the window for years now but want something that mounts on the dash...

They are in two parts. One part fits the car, the other fits the phone and the two screw together. I have my iPhone mounted just under the air vent to the left of the radio and use it as a satnav successfully.

The only thing I thought about with this style of mount is your looking away from the road more than when the phones in the window when using the phone for satnav. I like the idea of these they look smart. Might get one and try it.

One of their holders fits on the drivers side A pillar. That would allow you to mount your phone above the dashboard but not as far away from you as a windscreen sucker. Perhaps that would suit you better.

Have a look at "Sat Nav CD Mountings" on eBay. Another alternative as the cradle utilises the CD player slot as a mounting point.

I picked up one of these in Asda for a fiver. Used all the time since Feb 16. Takes the weight of a iPhone 6 Plus in both landscape or portrait modes.

On the MK2 Vents it fits perfectly where the up and down direction fins of the vent cross, I just close the vent to stop the phone getting too hot or cold.
