Oil Change Due Message

Hi all,

I have a 2014 Ford Focus 2.0 Diesel, the oil change due light came on the dash and after buying the filter oil and oil filter removal tool took it in the garage to do the oil service, the message still remains on the system though, does anybody know how to turn this off? Is it with a OBD scanner or something similar?

press brake pedal and accelerator pedal down together then switch ign on and wait a while untill message goes

on mine I had to hold the pedals down for about 30 seconds and the orange spanner light only went out after I took my feet off the pedals.

(ps ignition on, but engine not running)

Exactly right, had to do it on my ST after it's service in April.

Iirc, it also flashes up a confirmation on the cluster.
