shiwarrior
Need a new tyre, so i'll be getting a pair of tyres currently got Conti sport contact 2's on (17") is it worth sticking with this or changing ?
DJ_Andy_M
The newest are Sport Contact 5, and I had originally Sport Contact 3 on mine. Depends if you want better fuel economy vs grip or a combination of both really. The Sport Contact's aren't the most fuel efficient nor are they the worst but I'm quite happy with my purchase. shiwarrior
i know its best to get contis again, but what if i changed the tyres to something completely different ? i wouldn't mind going back to Dunlops for example
alexp999
No reason you can't go for something different as long as it is the right size/speed/load, etc.

alexp999
Even Ford don't always stick to one tyre. My mum's came with Michelin from the factory, where 6 months before cars were coming with Conti's. I think it depends on the deal they get at the time.
