i3lade4life
I am trying to install a Sony DAB radio in my Focus 52 plate. I have used a wire harness found online and it powers up once the ignition is on. But when I use the radio the volume is set to a stupidly high level and then I cannot scan for stations on FM. I have tried switching the red/yellow cables together but still nothing changes. Any advice is much appreciated
Ryan_Tango
Have you got a DAB aerial for your car? Also check out this wiring harness just in case the one you have isn't right just compare not suggesting buy it, just check to see if yours looks the same or similar. https://www.connects2.co.uk/Product/ProductItem/CT20FD01 Another option is an auto electrician but they can be expensive but I'm pretty sure someone at Halfords will know exactly what to do and they charge from £30 Edited January 27, 2017 by Ryan_Tango Spelling mistake
i3lade4life
I havent got the DAB aerial yet, but the problem is with the FM stations not digital. And the connectors are exactly the same as the ones on the website.
