OBD Code Scanner for MK1

As per my previous thread, the MK1 (2.0 petrol) has both the ABS and traction control lights illuminated permanently when the engine is running, and I want to find out exactly what the issue is and also reset the lights, but have been advised I need a scanner.

A quick eBay search showed this to be the best deal in my opinion, but would it work?  And if so, what do I need to download onto my laptop to get any results and reset the lights etc...?  And time for the really stupid question - where is the OBD port on a MK1!?  I've never had a reason to look for it before and have no idea.

Thank you...

I don't like it when people "bump" threads, but am guilty of doing so myself now!  If it is correct for my MK1, I will buy it today to find/correct the fault ASAP, but don't want to waste money.

I've looked that up and it seems correct, but one eBay listing gives details of the supported vehicles and it doesn't mention the 2.0 engine my Focus has.  Does anybody know if it would still work?
