3D Gel Number plate

Hi

I am after these 3D Gel Number Plates not sure which to go for which is completely road legal anyone bought some for theit ST's.

Gel look much better than pressed my son put them on his mk7 ST

The listing says they come with sticky pads. If they are no good then you can buy a roll of number plate tape for a few quid in motorsave or Halfords

Or maybe better to drill the plates more secure right

screw fixings stick out a mile , look ugly and spoil the clean lines.

not to mention drilling holes eventually lets water get inbetween the backing plate and vinyl lettering sheet

why spend 30 notes on a plate just to put cheap yellow plastic caps on top ?

To have it secured ? Or will the tape hold it in place good ?? Never used it before that why I was worried

tape or pads will be fine , my rear plate has been stuck on for 18 months now & it looks much better without fixings   :-)

Use a plate holder attached to the original screw holes.

Insert the plate and then you have no visible holes.

I'm using industrial strength Velcro, I struggle to take the plate off myself so I have no worries of it falling off haha
