Hi, I recently bought a 13 plate Fiesta and I just a few moments ago, I couldn't start it, (clicking noise). Do I need a new battery or jump start? any help on this please?

look thru the little round plastic window on the top of the batt and see if it`s green or red ?

Okay, just checked and the light is green

green normally means batt is charged and working well, clicking noise from trying to start car can mean the starter motor is on the way out. you can try a jump-start just incase it is the batt

I still couldn't start the engine tho

was that trying to jump start it ? if so the next thing to look at would be your starter motor

I've seen this on a transit connect van. They stop and all you can hear is the relays clicking on and off. We sent it back to ford as it is on a lease deal but you should be able to return it as long as you bought it from a dealer (within 6 months). It's up to them to prove it. If you want a quick fix then leave the battery off for 10 minutes and jump start after, that's what we did as a temp fix but I'd send it back as it could happen again
