mk3.5 st with mytouch sync 2

Recommended Posts

hi guys,

have been talking to a few friends who also have mk3.5 focus ST , they both have mytouch sync 2 with NAV,  mine didnt come with NAV as i bought mine used 1 year old, i had my ST in with ford to get service work carried out and they advised you cannot have NAV unless it was installed at factory,

i then also talked to someone at for via the Fordpass app, and they advised that it should be a matter of updating the radio software.

and others say you just need to buy the SD card

so which is it?   who is is talking crap?

what baffles me it that my screen has a compass and can get lat/long location co-ordinates, i am a tech for another car brand so by this information i know that the car would have to be fitted with a GPS module, and theoretically an update to the radio system seems logical.

so has anybody actually found the answer???
