Yh the pin strips went not going for the look now it's done to much, going for the clean look, I like these team heko ones more than the climair ones, I had those on my golf and they are really broad stick out a lot these are slim are hardly notice they are on tbh, I'd go for then mine were only £25 delivered for front and rears!! Well I adjusted the bonnet stoppers, I've spoken to a few people and they've said it was to aim air flow but I can't see what it's going to help tbh, like I have the big mouth Intake which scoops the air up into my CAI, the intercooler and rad are in the bottom and centre grill so there's nothing left to cook down really apart from ambient temps but my engine bay ain't that hot any more tbh, plus I've got a couple of things planned which will only Benicit the temps ;)
cheers for the kind comments, I'd adjust the bonnet so it looks closed like it should do.

had te plugs installed the ones that came out had done 35k not really that black but now I'm not sure if it's in my head or not but it seems to pick up revs quicker?? And idles better a lot more crispy sounding probs just me thinking I've spent £45 on them so they must have made an Improvment [emoji23]
Also forgot to mention painted the door grab plastics gloss black, just got to work out how to get the steering wheel V off to paint [emoji848]

The grab handles look really good, I wonder if the outer edges of the door (open) handle tray would look good in gloss leaving the inner untouched. Those plugs are supposed to be some of the best on the market, over on the sköda forum they really rave about them. I wouldn't be surprised if you can notice a difference at idle.

I have to say the clean look is really working, are you still thinking of replacing the front splitter? I think it needs the black lip at the front to bring symmetry back. The thin mud flaps look smart, half way between rally and standard. I ended up buying the Team Heko wind deflectors, looking forward to getting them beginning of next week. After months of promising myself I would hardwire my dashcam in I finally did it the other day so I'm on a roll now lol

I did think that Jonro about the exit handles but I have no idea how to take them apart, and I'd be without opening the car from the inside while I painted them so would maybe need a second set and sell them over, not sure but it's one I'll look into, the front is a bit of a dilemma atm, I've spoken to mountune and they won't be getting any of the cup spoilers in stock for a while and I left them my details for when they do but it could be 9+ weeks till they do! So I'm torn between cup spoilers and mou tune lower centre bar or do I get another splitter either the same or the racing one with the rods on the grill, for now I'm going to get the side skirts next pay day and then leave the front for a while until I make my mind up haha

In the mean time I'm sure I can feel a difference with the plugs pulls harder never had wheel spin in third before on a dry road warm tyres and now I do?

27th and 30th May are going to be the next BIG updates with mods planned ;) so look out

and yh you'll love the deflectors I do just adds that little bit of a touch on the sides and dash cam is something I still need to get 😂 Another month lol

I'm not sure how they would come out either, I'd guess there is something behind the circular cover at the back of the trim. I like the old splitter you had on but I always think that replacing like for like is a wasted opportunity [emoji848] the splitters with rods reminds me of Honda, I don't know why. I had wheel spin in third once, it had been snowing. 27th seems an awful long way off now. I got shipping info today, my deflectors should be here on Tuesday [emoji16]if you are planning to get a dashcam then my recommendation would be a BlackVue, they aren't cheap but they are very discreet and great quality.

Is your car Keyless? If it is have you considered the security? A car as good looking as yours would surely be eye candy for any thief. Saying that it wouldn't exactly blend in if it was being looked out for.

Also Jonro sercuirty wise I do have some bits installed to stop anyone taking it, I'd happy pm you the details but I won't be posting it on my thread, as I'm sure if someone wanted to they could get past anything if really needed.

Next update and big play will be Tuesday but have a couple of bits to whip on tomorrow if I get time

I assume that the bonnet vents are Jaguar type not original ones as those come with 'supercharged' stamped on them.

Yh wanted these for a while, cannot wait to see them on, added extra they are light weight or lighter than standard as well

Stoney - yh they are replica ones, which have a slight contour to match most ford bonnets, I've had to run a tiny amount of black sealant around 2 edges on each as it's not as contoured as my bonnet but unless you get right up into the side of them you can't notice it. TBH I didn't even look to find 'real' jaguar ones

Got more happening tomorrow performance mods wise

Haha, yh toke ages just lining them up to fit right not much room on the single skin bonnet and didn't want to cut into the second skin area haha and already coated them last night with carbon collectives wheel sealant with plenty of coverage should keep all dirt brake dust etc to a min and should just mean a quick pressure wash to clean them but atm before they go on they are spotless!! I'd lick them there that clean haha

So another few bits done this afternoon, not many photos taken due to a tight time frame to get it all fitted :)

so firsts ups swooping the mountune cooler to the Wagner (poor photo of it installed) IMG_2372.thumb.JPG.4e6d9adaef9e3e4ece78a3c1b0c146af.JPG

IMG_2375.thumb.JPG.224a1d29940a833edd6956a5342f1b90.JPG

IMG_2389.thumb.PNG.a625ae19d2ff0d7e8aa007819119733a.PNG

Removed the big mouth

IMG_2374.thumb.JPG.82f12ed095b402e8f826ca56ab731380.JPG

front looks a lot cleaner now

new fogs and complete light kit from CEUK

IMG_2373.thumb.JPG.a911896df0f7db06eb0a48c0f83cb583.JPG

refitted the CAI hose under the headlight

IMG_2377.thumb.JPG.d97ce69c2cb9c290092241467a1cbe9a.JPG

breedt manifold and throttle body Spacers along with the 2.3l ecoboost throttle body - which was a pig to fit in correctly as it was pretty tightly packed down there

IMG_2378.thumb.JPG.d032c018793b4b824e982308ac4e4e6e.JPG

IMG_2379.thumb.JPG.61184cc55317f5f4a5f8ab97c33a50ae.JPG

all done with the help of Gareth over at TK Performance

IMG_2376.thumb.JPG.8c6b7cfaaec288c6cb32f52591568ce3.JPG

so results, well already I can the cooler Spacers and throttle body are making an effect, throttle response is crisper torque and boost seem lower in the RPM range, on a dry road wheel spin is aggressive or can be in third, it pulls hard from the line, we found out it possibly has a sports cat already installed but we couldn't find any Ford number or info or any other info stamped into it so we don't know for sure?

Whats next? Well I have a few visible changes to make, i.e. Tomorrow I'll get the new wheels fitted, need new wheel nuts, side and front splitters, shark fin antenna, change of sun strip colour combo, brakes I need to sort something about brakes, bigger discs on the rear and the RS 4 pots with tarrox discs and pads all round

I do have some bits for sale if anyone's interest

mountune cooler

pumaspeed updated boost solenoid

2 x 25mm wheel spacers

4x 20mm wheels Spacers

velossa big mouth

power flex exhaust rubbers

if interested pm me

until tomorrow I'll update then :)

liking the new mods keep up the good work

I did get the bonnet lifter kit from NBStyling but was missing a ball joint so couldn't fit it as off yet and got some braided brake lines in prep for upgrading the fronts to 4 pot brembos and rears to the 300mm disc kit :) all with tarrox discs and pads just awaiting a price and date some time in late June I believe, what colour to have the calipers is the question tho 🤔

Looking good Dan. I'd go for body coloured calipers behind your black wheels.

Are you getting Chris to paint your bonnet struts as well?

Cheers guys, and the brackets on the bonnet kit are already pre painted tangerine scream so no worries there, I think I'm going to go with yellow callipers, I'm undersided tho, if to go just 300mm rears and 4 pot fronts or 4 pot rear and 6 pot fronts? 🤔 How much stopping force do I need?

Got my CEUK halos I need to fit them, and some side splitters to go on when I get a chance and a helping hand to fit them, just the front to sort out on what I'm going to do splitter wise 🤔 And possible the SS tuning rear bumper valance 🤔 Again not sure, plans are still to hybrid turbo at the end of the year and methanol injection next year I guess changing the chocolate pistons is then on the cards think I'm going to need to ask for some overtime 😂

Four pots on the rear will be a waste of time to be honest. The RS has the same pads and discs as what you have on already. Even with that in mind i don't know whether there are any 4pot brakes you can buy for the rear. I know one of the very few upgrades you can do for the rear is to upgrade to the Mazda 6 breaks.

For the front I've just put the the 4pot RS Brembo Callipers and they are pretty awesome. They fill the wheel lovely and are good up to at least 400bhp. Partnered with some track ready discs and pads and you'll be sorted and in the process saving about a grand.

Like the sound of the mods. Similar to mine but I'm not doing any real performance ones at the moment. All about mastering getting the power down on what's there. Nothing worse than wasting good power on a wheel spin! :)

Cheers guys think I am going to go with 300mm rear upgrade on standard calipers but maybe 6 pot brembos on the front 🤔 But like you say the RS 4 pots are good for 450bhp on the pumaspeed build so why not on mine waiting to see what sort of deal I can get from sci co getting them both at the same time, decided on the front splitter last night and put an order in so will have to wait and surprise you on that one :) just waiting another week until pay day and then more mods to buy 😂 I hope my other half doesn't find this forum 😂

Also got stopped on Saturday by the police 5O fuzz people a young lad stepped out cautioned me and decided I was breaking the law but he couldn't tell me until he had a good look round the car and only to come back with his anpr system was incorrect and my private plate hadn't changed over but he wanted to point out my number plate was in an illegal position so I need to move it -.-
