C max engine malfunction

Help!! 

 

Engine malfunction light appeared ⚠ but in RED on computer it kept comin on every alternate day my car is running fine no other problems but this light took it to garage as was due a service they said it was low fuel pressure so they changed fuel filter. Next day light back on near enough constantly so back to garage after weekend now there saying its dpf filter they cleared it with machine and said take it on motorway to clear dpf but its back on and it did nothing there saying ill need dpf cleaning or changing if light came back on i dont have any trust in garages due to my last car always getting diagnosed wrong and being out of pocket does anyone know what this could be??????
