richardc1983
Anyone else noticed this if your using GPS and playing music that the phone will actually drain even though it shows its charging. This is when connected to the USB via the lightening cable. It will charge very slowly if maps is turned off. Maybe 20% in 3 hours.
Stoney871
The car usb ports don't provide enough power to adequately charge phones. The ports are really only meant for media connections.Sent from my SM-G930F
DJ_Andy_M
The maximum output of one of the usb ports is limited to 500ma. This is the standard output for any USB port that complies with USB1.0/1.1/2.0 standards of which the radio will because that will be what the chipset that controls the USB will meet.
Guzzilazz
Most modern devices to get a good charge rate need 2.1A or so... as you're getting less than a quarter of that from the USB, not much of a surprise really! Good quality "Lighter socket" charger will deliver what you want.
Davejavu13
I bought a twin cig charger from Halfords. Both are 2.1mHa
