jmurray01 Posted April 28, 2017 Share Posted April 28, 2017 Most likely the fuel filter has been clogged when it sucked up the dregs from the bottom of the tank. Try changing that and see if it makes a difference. Worst case scenario it could be the fuel pump itself has been damaged, as they are not designed to be ran out of fuel seeing as the fuel itself cools the pump, so it can overheat if ran dry.
