Possible starter motor, is it making any noise whatsoever or is it just tick tick ticking, the starter motors on these little ferraris are at the front of the engine slightly behind the radiator so get covered in road crud really easily.

Im sure the cut off switch is in passenger foot well but don't quote me on that, did you get it sorted?

My brother had a K reg RS2000 and that used to have trouble starting now and again. A procedure that we tried was to unplug the wire from the injectors, and start the engine. It would then cut out as there wasn't any fuel. Reconnect plugs and start it again. Not a permanent solution but it might get you going.

Ultimately the problem was fue box related, which is a common problem. I actually changed it on the RS, my other brothers Orion Ghia SI, and two of my friends XR3i's.  From memory they get moisture inside and it corrodes the internals, which usually affects the electrical supply for the fuel system (i think), and a bodge was to take a feed from another fuse loaction and plug it in to the fuel fuse location. I can't remember which fuse though.

This is the actual wire I used.
