wet driver side footwell

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with my car. it keeps wetting the driverside footwell. I have been working on it lately. here is the list,

1. sealed the entrence of the electrical wiring gommet on the bulkhead

2. sealed the heater cover on the bulkhead

3. sealed the polen filter box on the bulkhead.

but could not stop the leaking. yesterday I dissassambled the dirver seat and laid on the floor of the car. then I took a water hose and let the water run. 

suprise,

the water is leaking behind the pedals. there is a rubber seal ring around the break pedal and water is getting in the though that part. I think I need to seal it from the other side. 

how can I do that can someone help me?

I had a re-occuring leak in a vectra once, there were some drainage holes near the windscreen that you could access when the bonnet was up. they'd got clogged with debris and caused the water to find a different route.

 

Not sure if it would relate to a fiesta but could be something similar?

nope. drainages are open. I am pretty sure that the water leaks behind the brake pedal. I have seen it.

I think Banana Co is more saying that whilst the water may be coming in via the brake pedal it perhaps shouldn't be going near that point at all and this being because it should be taking some other route instead.

I finally found it. 

there is this hyrolic hose going to clutch. the water follows the hose and gets in. took a day but finally found it. we sealed it and problem solved.
