Streetka Rocker Gasket Replacement

Brand new to the forum and brand new to owning a 2005 Ford Streetka!

I have recently taken my car for a service at a dealership. One of the issues raised was that the rocker cover gasket was leaking. I understand that this is relatively easy to change at home.

I am after some brief instructions as I am far from being a mechanic! Also I note the "bolts" that hold the rocker cover have badly rusted - where can I purchase replacements and what are they called, size etc.? I do have a torque wrench, so would be interested in how tight they need to be?

Thank you all in advance for your help!

Just got my wife a streetka a few weeks ago and noted it was leaking a little oil every night whilst parked in the garage.  Her's needed a new rocker oil seal too.  I just got my local trusted garage to do it for me as the bolts were fairly rusty and knowing my luck, one would have snapped.  It didn't cost much to do (£40 I think) and whilst I was at it I also had the exhaust replaced as the original was well corroded and had 2 snapped hangers and also I had a major service carried out for peace of mind as they went throughout the car and changed plugs and filters etc too which were fairly mucky.  Fortunately all was well except for the aircon system has no gas and won't hold vacuum pressure.  That can wait though as it gives out normal hot and cold air.

Hope you get your oil leak sorted.

Thanks for your reply Saxosim. Yeah my bolts are pretty rusted too, so going to need to source some new bolts!
