Fitting silicone air hoses

I am minded to uprate the primary and secondary air intake hoses with the upgraded silicone versions.  The clip on the small hose in the pic would have to be removed and it seems to need two tabs lifted at the same time and one is underneath.  Being plastic, it's easy to break so can you tell a simpleton (me) how to do it?  Thanks.   (Must get round with a duster!)

Put brain in gear; disconnected hose at both ends to gain access to both sides of clip.  Job done
