Will
Hi all, bit of a problem with my fiesta. Whilst on my way to work she just cut out and crawled to a stop on the side of the road. She's always been sluggish starting and seems to oose power when you get to about 4000rpm. Cam belt is still there, but when i try to start i just get a click from the starter like a competely flat battery would give, I've charged battery and tried to jump it but it turned over for about 2 seconds then i got the click again and no improvement since. Even tried bumping it while towing off the road but nothing even at 20mph!!! Any ideas? Cheers.

blakey260
Have you tried your alternator? yeah but still you should be able to bump start it if its got some power in the battery, if the starter motor's not even ticking over then it might be that you've got a faulty connection with that
