2012 Fiesta Horn not working

Hello all,

have a 2012 Fiesta which doesnt have a working horn, if you press the button on the steering wheel you can hear the relay behind the glovebox click..

I've had a look at the horn itself it's a dual horn not corroded and the connections look ok.

Given the relay is clicking does this suggest it's the horn itself?

could still be relay fault (contacts inside the relay) or a wiring fault, I do not know about fuse, there might be a separate fuse for the power from relay to horn.   you need to get a voltmeter on the horn connector to see if voltage there (or can you hold the horn wires on a light bulb to see if the bulb lights to prove power gets that far) if it's a dual horn (I assume you mean there are two horns) then it's unlikely to be the horns as would they both fail at same time?

Thanks, any idea what relay it is, unless I've missed it there doesn't seem to be a relay specially for the horn, or would it be the same as battery saver as it's on the same fuse?

there is no relay, the switching takes place in the bcm module.

the only fuse is the battery saver/horn fuse.

Fuse 32 in the engine fuse box, at least that is what the manual says

I'm having the same problem on my 2015 fiesta econetic ztec, fuse is good but again can hear the clicking under the glove box

Looked through the manual but there doesn't seem to be a relay for the horn only a fuse 🙈

As I've said before, there is no relay, the bcm does the switching , you need to check there is power going to the horn when pushed.

I’m having this issue on a 63 plate, I’ve also got a drivers side headlight out but the bulb isn’t blown, assumed it was a fuse problem but checked all fuses and they’re fine🤷🏻‍♂️
