Benlavelle
Evening all, ive recently upgraded my boring and dim footwell lights on my mk3 focus to a more modern white led which provides more light and looks a lot better. However, I've never noticed it as the old red led was so dim, but the footwell light is programmed to come on while you have the headlights on. This isn't a major problem but I was wondering if there's anyway to turn it off as it's a little distracting? Ben.
TDCiST
There may be an option in software called ELMConfig... you'll need a cable etc to access your cars systems.

The programme you need for a Mk3 Focus is called Focccus. ELMConfig is for the Mk2 / 2a. They both use the same ELM 327 adapter. Authors site is: http://ford.xtlt.ru/FoCCCus/ Also see: http://www.jamessimpson.co.uk/focccus-central-ecu-config-edit-elm327/ And for the adapter, look at: https://tunnelrat-electronics.fwscart.com/
Benlavelle
I've been taking a look at the program, however I'm not sure there's any option in the software the change the footwell lights? To be honest, it looks a little to complex for me as well, worried I'll mess my cars software up.
JW1982
The footwell lights are part of the ambient lichting. The Central Car Configuration of the vehicle only has the configuration parameters to switch the ambient lichting on or off. There are no settings to change when the ambient lighting is actually on or off.
