zagobir
All insured for another year [emoji322][emoji323] Mods have seriously slowed down so here are some old pics from a recent meet lol. There won't be many updates from here going forward. Thanks for keeping up so far [emoji5] Since my last post however, I do now have a new mascot - Ronin from Avengers End Game - who was a great companion to Isle of Wight Takeover in May where I got my latest decal shown below! Patiently waiting to board the ferry to IOW! zain611
I think you should get some white LEDs for the front. Will smarten it up 👍

Will smarten it up [emoji106]I do for the headlights, just not the fogs.My sidelights are blue/white and my headlights are a cool blue as well. Remember my lights are painted gold so the sidelights reflect off gold paint, whereas the main lights reflect off the silver projectors/reflectors so do actually look white [emoji13] Sent from my BLA-L09 using Tapatalk
zagobir
Better late than never - the TRC splitter is on! Seriously considering lowering it now so it looks less like a snow plough [emoji854]Was a pain in the butt getting it on a standard Zetec bumper but luckily I had good help! zain611
Is that splitter for the ST / zetec s bumper? Does look good though 👍. Be careful if your going to lower the car as your gonna have to be careful about the splitter and speed bumps.

Be careful if your going to lower the car as your gonna have to be careful about the splitter and speed bumps. That's the one, yeah. I know, that's why I've never done it! I don't have patience for driving at 10mph every where in case of speedbumps and potholes [emoji23] I've always had to bear in mind that it is my daily as I don't have another car. It would look so much better though... Sent from my BLA-L09 using Tapatalk

With me with the zetec s because it is stiff and slightly lowered from factory I slow down to around 15-20mph for some speedbumps. It annoys me more when someone comes right up behind me 😤

b4zz
loving the splitter. im in the same boat my car I use for shows and its my daily want to lower it but talk my self out as I have a splitter and don't want to be going over speed bumps doing 5mph as it is I slow down to go over them just incase it catches. lowered cars do look better but can also be a pain if lowered to much
zagobir
Never got round to posting but I did indeed go low, back in early November! I got some Eibach springs from a guy that was taking his ST150 back to standard and since they were only 35mm I thought I'd snap them up as the difference wouldn't be too crazy! I eventually got some before and after pics. Subtle difference but enough to make it worth the change imo: Had a couple of scrapes coming off driveways and car park ramps (eek!) Other than that, the drive and handling has been spot on. I soon got used to the speed humps around lol Happy new year to those that are still with me haha! zain611
Think the car actually sits just about right 👍. Sadly that's the pitfalls of lowering the car. On my previous car I put plastic rear mudflaps on and when I had people in the back it tended to scrap when going off driveways that I think one of the hinges on the bumper broke😬.

Thank you [emoji5]Luckily I don't have any friends so there is never anyone in the back for me to have that problem haha! My mudflaps do scrape coming in and out of the garage though as it's quite a steep ramp down but they're the standard ones so doesn't really bother meSent from my BLA-L09 using Tapatalk
Jonro2009
It's sitting right, low enough to notice but high enough to be practical.I did a bit of plastidipping on my focus, just the mirror caps but it turned out pretty well. Also put some sequential indicators on the mirrors too, I was very pleased with them. After that I took the bumper off and fitted a pair of Hella ClearTone horns, they looked pretty good behind the grill, I went with the yellow ones instead of the red ones you see on all the Subaru's. Then the following week I sold it lol.Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Are you able to get a glossy finish from platidip?
Jonro2009
Haha.I had some really nice gel badges made for the focus too.Did some 3D wrapping inside the car.The mirror covers were a Matt finish, all plastidip is Matt but you can put a 'glossifier' on it I believe. Not sure how that works with the paint being peelable, wouldn't still be if you put a top coat on [emoji2371]The horns took a while, having to remove the bumper was not too hard though. I also changed the air filter and cabin filter the day before I changed lol.Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Jonro2009
Nice! They are solid. I miss mine PF02 MXJ was the reg. I modded the hell out of it lol. Lexus rear lights, lowered to within an inch of the road, 6" stainless steel straight through exhaust with 8" single tail pipe and modified head lights. It was only a 1.4 so was definitely 'all show and no go" haha. I loved it, until a coil pack caught fire while I was doing 70mph on a dark country lane - wasn't too dark when I opened the bonnet like a div! Hope you have fun in yours, don't forget to drop us a few pictures EDIT I also had an insane ICE install and neon lights inside and also under the car. Unfortunately the only pictures I had got lost on a corrupt harddrive, I didn't use social media back then.Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

I would colour code the rear plastic bottom of the bumper. In terms of tuning I'd get the audi S3 of that generation the turbo and injectors. Can get it to some big power.
