Opinions on 17" ST150s on a Mk6 Zetec please? Agreed an offer with someone for a set but concerned they'll look a bit ridiculous on a 4 door...

 

Here is said car:

 

Not a great pic but I put 15s on my old Fiesta (just some steelies to try for size) and thought it looked a bit ridiculous at standard ride height with bigger tyres...

Do you think I should go for them? Anyone done the same and have pics to show?

They would fit on fine and look oryt but you might have to lower the car so it doesn't look like it's sat on top of them if you know what I mean 

Yeah that's that I was thinking! Would look like a mini 4x4 lol. Don't really want to mess around with springs though coz I've had issue after issue with them since buying my car [emoji17]

Just put some big lights on the front and mud flaps with wrc decal kit hahah

If they are good price and you want them you could get them and keep them for future but like you say don't want to mess around with springs so don't know car could be as high as my grandads trousers and you don't want that

Just had a brainwave! Will lower profile tyres sort out my "Fiesta bus" dilemma?

Surely if the rims are bigger but the tyres lower, I can have roughly the same diameter wheel as what I have now [emoji102]

It will be basic the same car will still look high anyway cos it's not lowered if wur you would just get an eibach  springs or something and just do 30ml all round
