Hi Guys 

in also looking to fit ST 250 gauges to my Focus is it easy to cut top of dash to clip it in? Thanks Jimmy

Your dashboard loom will be completely different. It wont work exactly like in st but maybe possible to have them illumenated. I had st170 gauges & speedo in my mk1.5 2.0 zetec esp.

Btw i fitted this in my mk2.5 Titanium -S .this is scangauge ii diagnostic unit fitted in st225 gauges housing.

I already had a storage tray on top of dashboard so i removed the lid & custom fitted gauges. But lenny & preee did in his mk3

My dash has lines on it but not a cut out you can just pop off 😩

If you remove the radio screen then you can feel the cut areas from the inside.

The additional MK3 ST gauges are fully functional on the 1.5 ECOboost.

On all other engine types the additional gauges have limited functionality or no functionality at all. 

 

The additional ST gauges are CANbus controlled. It is possible to control the gauges with a suitible controller (for example an arduino combined with a CANbus shield). However this requires a custom written arduino sketch. You basically need to convert the input data to a suitible output data that is transmitted to the gauges. I did this before for the additional MK2 ST gauges.
