iantt Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 this evening ive spoken to a lad i used to work with and he recons its easy to fit. the holes are there both ends , and 2 screws each end holding the plunger and the protector assy , then a cable links the 2 together which just clips in various points in the door.but he confirmed its a costly retrofit. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

drsdriver Posted September 5, 2017 Share Posted September 5, 2017 I had them on my previous Focus, had quite a few issues with them snapping off, getting trapped against the passenger door. I have 2 small kids and pretty narrow parking spots so it was a must for me to retrofit those 😄 lol But it is very hard to find a used set for sale.
