spurswes
A family member has just purchased a 66 plate Titanium S with 10,500 on the clock. So far it’s a lovely little SUV to drive,is there anything we should know about the car,for e,g, any problems with them ect ?? I know the fuel tank only holds 50 Ltrs is that because Ford made them so economic in which case it saves building a bigger tank ? on the dashboard how accurate are the Mpg figures Ect ?? Jethro_Tull
If you have a more economical motor, you can get away with a smaller tank - when full to the brim that's 20 or more KG saved, which in turn improves consumption, performance, and emissions. The tank in my Fusion, the sort-of predecessor to the EcoSport (the MKI ES, which we never got here, was derived from the fusion) is 45L, and that gives it acceptable range at mid-40's MPG.
