Could fitting Parking sensors or a reversing camera reduce my premium?

maybe it will or maybe it wont, ask the insurance company first.

I know some insurers reduce their premiums if you install a dash cam. I haven't seen any insurers asking about wherever you've installed parking sensors / driving aids. Would be best to ask.

Think I have heard about the dash cam thing before, I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience with it.

I'm guessing I would need to inform them if install either, was thinking of going for a reversing camera like you have, seems better than parking sensors, a lot of people tell me they go off way too early.

You’ve got to think like a perverse underwriter so will Probably go up cause the repairs will cost more if you have a bump

I wonder if you can say to them any damage done to the reversing camera system I will take account for. It's mainly if you get rear ended the camera or wiring might get damaged. Can't see the mirror getting damaged unless you rolled the car over. 

I've lived with parking sensors and now a reversing camera so I have an opinion about them.

Sensors pros: gives an audio judgment on how close you are to an object, as there's nothing to look at I used to look at how close I was getting to the kurb whilst listening to the beeps so I don't damage my wheels. 

Sensors cons: you don't have a visual view on how close you are to an object, heavy rain can sometimes make the sensors think there's an object causing it to beep. 

Camera pros: have a visual view on the object behind, can get close to an object, looks fancy. 

Camera cons: could still have a blind spot, have to look around you and look at the monitor not like sensors where you just have to listen to the beeps.

Elephant insurance put my quote up by £6 for having sensors fitted, and that still didn't cover them if I was claiming a fault claim. If i wanted therm covered for that, then I had to pay an extra £28. When a new set can cost as little as £8 on eBay, it's hardly worth it.
