Hi all

Just purchased a 2015 Zetec s 1.0 ecoboost. Love the car but have questions. 1. Is there a way to set the radio to turn off when ignition is turned off? As currently will only turn off when pressed. Also when I lock the vehicle theres no visible indication of alarm being armed. I get the indicators flashing and door locks. But no indication inside vehicle like flashing Led to indicate this, should I be getting something.

The radio should go off when you open the door, otherwise it will stay on for 20 minutes or so.

I'm sure I have a bleeping red LED somewhere on the dash. Not sure if it's either by the hazard warning button or near the windscreen somewhere.

I don't think there is a flashing alarm light anywhere on the vehicle. if there is I've never seen it

I like the way the radio stays on until I open the door, obviously more complication to potentially go wrong though

thought there was a light on the dials that flashed i know on the mk7 there was one thought it was the same on the mk7.5

ok so yes opening the door turns off the radio, or it stays on for about 20 minutes, nothing stopping you opening and closing the door if you are staying put and want it off

and im not entirely sure they come with alarms standard buddy. just emobiliser. so the flash is jsut to let you know youve locked it
