AUX not working

Hi there, 

I have a 2011 ford focus and the AUX has stopped working. 

It worked up until a few days ago but now when I press 'AUX' it shows up on the radio for 2 seconds then goes back to the radio station in on. I've tried different cables and still nothing. The port is in the glove box and it has no visable signs of defect! 

Any help appreciated!
