Sat nav power connection location

Featured Replies

Hi,

im wanting to hard wire a tomtom sat nav into my fiesta titanium x diesel 2015.

Im intending mounting the unit on the drivers door pillar. Where is the best place to pick up a switched live for the power? I obviously want somewhere which means the least removal of dash etc......  and easy options for connecting and hiding wires....? Links to pics?

thanks

Sadly mine isn’t a live..... anyone else got a suggestion.  I think prob the fuse bos is the answer but it’s on the other side in the glove box.... is it possible to poke a wire from the driver side to passenger side behind the central  radio/heater part of the dash without removing anything?

Ive just remembered I ran my feed from the 12v cigar socket in the centre console, it' switched and already fused at the box....
