Ford Fiesta Bluetooth

Featured Replies

New to this, not sure if this post is in the correct forum.

I have a 09 Mk7 Fiesta Zetec, the radio has bluetooth built in ,however it can only be used for the hands free. My friend also has a Mk7 Fiesta , his has bluetooth built in and is able to listen to music through bluetooth.

Wondering if there is a firmware update or something i can do to allow me to listen to music over bluetooth?

Please can someone point me in the right direction.

The first built fiestas didn't have bluetooth media streaming from what I can remember. Ford only added it from mid 2009 ish.

Some people have managed to do a firmware update though which gave them bluetooth media, however others have tried it and failed. I can't remember whether you need to take it to the dealer or if you can do it over USB.
