A Question on Sat Navs on Focus 2011-2014 models.

Hi Everyone,

First of all may I wish all ford owners a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

On 2011-2014 model focus’s, the sat nav screens are quite small compared to the later models (2014-present), so I was wondering if owners of the 2011-2014 models could tell me how they get on with theirs? Are they too small to use as a sat nav that you would need to use an additional bigger sat nav?

Whats your thoughts on this please?

Thank you,

Liam.

Hi Liam,

I find mine ok especially when used in conjunction with the feature that shows you directions next to the rev counter.

Perfectly good. Its bigger than the early TomToms and works very well, you can also tell it to through next junction information up instead of the car picture by the speedo

How do you get the directions up next to the rev counter?

Its one of the settings you can change. Cant remember off hand which of the 2 displays you set it on though sorry. I used to have it switched on, but have over time switched it off (along with voice on the sat nav). I prefer to have the car display showing and to look at the nav screen to plan ahead
