Having seen the revamped Fiesta's, I'm saving the pennies for the proper Fiesta ST, not this ST-Line cosmetic changed stuff.

Does anyone know of a 'release' date for this or whether it's just worth swallowing pride and grabbing a Fiesta ST-Line? Personally, I feel if you want an ST, you go all out and get an ST, not one that's just had a few appearance changes, but maybe that's me?

I'm looking for the power, looks and fun to drive, not just Recaro seats ;-)

Spring is all that has officially been said. That will be to order, not first deliveries.

Some magazines say Feb for orders opening, I've also heard March on some forums.

I doubt first deliveries will be before summer.

I'm waiting to pounce, so as soon as I'm told or find out I can order, I'll be posting about it. :)

I recently ordered a ST-Line even if I wanted the ST because I needed a car asap.

The dealer told me that we'd only be able to configure the ST model at the mid/end of March.
You probably won't get one before June ;)

I'll just remap myself the engine to 178hp like I did on my older fiesta and install an aftermarket exhaust with the ST rear bumper when we'll be able to buy it in parts.
With those mods it'll almost be an ST :P

Conclusion, if you can wait for the ST, all good, if not just grab the ST-Line, it's an awesome little car.
I actually test drove the 140hp version here in Switzerland and was surprised how it was way better than the last gen :P

Oh my good lord! That looks amazing, it looks even better than the blue press pictures I've seen. 

 

I read that it's due to debut in Feb. But I take what I read in autocar with a pinch of salt. 

Best to be patient for it. You don't want to get an ST line and regret not getting an ST.
