Hello, so I have 1.4 mk6 fiesta as my first. I'm going to be changing it up does anyone know where I can get, Zetec S/ST front and rear bumpers from and also spoilers. If there anymore modifaction ideas you guys have that will be great thank you. :)

For bumpers you can check a breakers or ebay. Is it a diesel? If it is you could try blanking off the Egr. I have the 1.6 diesel and I'm getting a little more mpg from it now.

Could also look at upgrading the lights to LED. Making the front sidelights to a white LED one would smarten it up

You can also change the seats for a set if st seats and some angel eye headlights

tint the rear windows climairs focus st wheels

My sons car by the way

Also zetec s / ST leather steering wheel. If you want a clean steering wheel then the zetec s would be good as the ST wheel is the same but has the ST badge on it.

Let me guess. You're 17/18, just passed your test and want to "customise" your car and impress your mates. We've all been there though lol. I guess that's what fast and furious has done to the car scene. Everyone wanted to have a clapped out civic with black windows, HID's, a big spoiler and massive exhaust or just a back box haha.

The older version of me says buy an ST/ zetec-s. Making yours look like one isn't really customizing your car. Personally I think it looks a bit daft people making their cars all pimped up and making them look like the next spec up when they're not. Like I said, bodykits/making your car look fast feels a bit last decade to me.

The cost of getting new bumpers and spoilers is about as much as the price difference between yours and the next trim level. Not to mention painting, you have to assume the colours won't match when buying from a breakers. Quite often they're covered in scratches and allsorts. Then you have to ***** about changing them all over and getting the panel gaps right.

You can then devalue the car because people won't have the same taste as you and don't like buying modified cars like this. The zetec-s mk6 are dirt cheap these days, even for a decent one.

I'd probably agree with Luke. It may be best to do subtle mods without compromising the originality of the car. When I was looking for insurance for a zetec s 1.6 TDCi it was only £100 more compared to the 1.4 diesel. I got my zetec s with part leathers, electric mirrors, factory rear tints, red dashboard and steering wheel controls for £1900 with 116k on the clock. The 1.6 petrol ones are going for less with lesser mileage. The 1.6 and 1.4 diesels have the same road tax, 1.6 is claimed 2mpg less than the 1.4, 1.6 is 3 seconds quicker to 60.

Here's just a few pictures of the lights I've installed. Hopefully soon will wire in halo lights.

No not really just something subtle, I'm not really in to the ridiculous modded out thing. Just want it to look good not really to impress my friends just to impress me really. But thanks for the advice.
