Deebz
Is it just me or was the mk4 & 5 dynamics and suspension ahead of its time. when I say suspension, I'm not talking track ready but for the roads (I live in humpville aka London) some the die hards will be able to tell Me how it compares to the other generations. i drive a 2001 courier, and it brought it all back and that's without the zetec & it's still on 13s. forgive me if mk4 & 5 praise has been gone to death, or maybe it hasn't cos it's offspring have always gone one better. let me know what you think in the mean time I'll do a search and see if it's an ollllllld thread. Jethro_Tull
It was good in its day, but nothing to crow about. The 205 was better a decade earlier. Arguably the MK6 was grippier and better steering, but with a less well damped ride, so it depends on what characteristics the observer favours as to which is "best".
