Hi all,

 

Someone hit me while I was parked and fled the scene without leaving any notes, so having the fun of replacing my front bumper myself (insurance was c. £1,500 once excess paid and NCB lost) and Ford (near on £750).

Best place to get a genuine one for cheaper than Ford's? (about £400 inc VAT on Fords painted).

Or anyone used an aftermarket replica? They are going for c. £200 on eBay and state insurance approved - but friends have told me quality may be sub standard and may pop out of any rivets etc

Also, anyone got any thoughts on the colour difference between factory fresh paint, and 6 years worth of UV..? noticeable? or nothing a bit of t cut on the new bumper won't sort.

Will need 2012 bumper pre facelift with fog lights in ink blue metallic if anyone is interested.
