Can you lock the doors from inside the car.

Not sure what you mean--are you referring to the child -proof locks on the rear doors? More info would help.

My wife likes to lock the doors whilst sat in the car parked up to prevent any body getting in. This is car is different to other cars we have had with a little button to press near the window to lock the doors.

IIrc the lock lever is in 2 parts (small upper part and larger lower part), if so then push in the upper part of the lever on the drivers door to lock the doors.

If only a single lever then try pushing the end of the lever inwards (again on drivers door).

The drivers lever needs to be the one used as it is the one directly linked to the central locking triggering system.
