I have bought a new alloy with a tyre and tpms valve from eBay, does the sensor need programmed to the car if so what tool or are they auto learn the sensors? Iaintruten Posted March 10, 2018 Author Share Posted March 10, 2018 Just a wee update on reseting tpms on the dash tried again on the way home from work since my work is right next to the motorway and that's it not came back up saying it couldn't detect for at least a day now, cheers for the advice guys, just need to get my knowledge up to scratch with the fords now as I knew the vauxhalls inside out, but now own 2 focuses since both my previous astras drove me up the wall and after getting the 2 focuses it's safe to say I won't be back to vauxhall lol.
