    The picture wont upload some reason. No damp around carpet so im thinking maybe the previous owner had pulled the carpet back for some reason. No idea how to fix it though.

    Carpets aren't glued or anything, they're just gripped by the inside door sill trims, centre console, seat rails etc.  You'll probably have to remove some trim to slot it back under and refit but can't be any more specific without the picture I'm afraid.
