Jamesb9811
Hi, I’ve had my wheel alignment done three times by two different garages and it’s not helped whatsoever, I have to have the wheel slightly to the left to drive in a straight line. Could there be something else that’s causing this? Thank you
TDR|XTC
Maybe the wheels are aligned but the steering wheel is not!
TDR|XTC
Software like Forscan can read the angle sensor for the steering wheel!. Do a check on that and adjust it. Besides that, the guys from your local service should also check for the steering wheel position when they align the wheels.
Trewithy
Get the alignment checked on a rig that checks the alignment of all four wheels. The steering wheel should be centred before the test begins, they often have a device they jam between the steering wheel and the seat to make sure it does't move during the alignment process.
