indicators not flashing on dash but work outside the car

hi,

 

hoping some one can shed some light on this.

my son has just wired a new stereo into his car but has discovered that the indicator lights are not working on the dash board anymore.

the lights are still working outside the car but just get no green arrows flashing inside.

not sure if this could be fuse related (but i dont think it is!!)

Please help!!!!

    I don't know the answer, but in case you did not know, it is a MOT failure for the dashboard indicator warning light(s) not working
