Fiesta ST MK7 Rear Brake Tool

Featured Replies

Hi,

Quick question which I know someone can answer. Rear brakes do I need a tool to wind the caliper back?

If so, which way do they wind back? Would the followinf tool suffice?

You can get a full kit for that price off Amazon. I'd recommend the full kit rather than the one you posted with just one wind back screw as you can come across some rear calipers with left handed threads, which your kit would  not be able to do. The kits also comes with every adapter you will ever need.

Anyway this kit looks the same as mine. They're all the same, just a different name. There's the exact same kit on there for £14, but no prime delivery so included that one for £18.

Save your money and use a pair of needle nose pliers...  The piston shouldn't be hard to turn.  I've done plenty of rears and never bought a proper tool lol.
