D13 HPD - Mk3 RS

Recommended Posts

Hi all again, so if you followed my cars in this project thread, you’ll see I had a mk7 fiesta modified a few years later I returned with my ST-2 Mk3 focus in Tangerine which become highly highly modified and now I’ve traded that car in for this.....

One Mk3 RS in magnetic grey every optional extra, Shell seats the only seats to have in an RS.

Only mods so far are

H & R 20mm springs

H & R uprated anti roll bars

Rallyflapz in black

Mountune recirc valve

KMs custom Tornado cat back with stock exhaust valve still in place

and that’s it so far I’ll be keeping her mainly stock for warranty reasons but a few cosmetic changes to be done maybe some warranty friendly performance mods who knows :) see what this thread becomes shall we ;)

anyway here’s some photos I have so far need to clean her and get loads of photos taken also a video of the exhaust popping and banging lol

Sounds good 👍. Pops and bangs are a young drivers dream lol. Just watching this just makes we wish my degree finishes quicker and I get a proper job to save up for a nice fast car.

I think these little mods will help improve driving experience. Where would you find the turbo sound suppressor? I don't see why they would suppress the turbo noise when it sounds addicting hearing the turbo spool. On my car you can hear it spool down but only when you shift up from second and third.

The suppressor is on the inlet of the turbo it basically is a tiny hole which allows air to escape when not on throttle and when gunning it it sucks a small amount of air in and it makes a horrible noise so you get a bung to block it off so you hear the turbo through the air intake only honestly I’ve heard it before and after and there’s so much difference they shouldn’t have done it all together

Nice car! Love magnetic.. would have been my first choice if Nitrous hadn't been available.

Sounds like you rode the clutch a bit on your first launch - it is un-natural to be harsh with it i know, but it really does work!

(And turn TC off for a tad of wheel slip if it's dry - Ford Test drivers said that's the fastest way to get away)

Ta bud, I know clutch going up was slow so need to work on that but was my first launch so will have to get out and practise some more in track mode :)

also decided the car didn’t have enough RS logos .....

Idiot question coming up... What does the pedal spacer do? Also, do you have a link to the wireless charger?

The throttle pedal is quite far down in the footwell so it literally brings it to the same height as the brake and clutch pedal so you can ‘heel toe’ easier and also get on brakes quicker by only having to swivel your foot not move it

also so phone charger was Xmas present so I don’t know mate sorry
