D13 HPD 95
Couple of fiddly and pain in the ***** jobs done today, Mishimoto baffled catch can installed and plumbed in along with the Mountune intake manifold, refitted the engine cover hangers so I could cover it all back up again -.- lol can see how it mounts and you have easy access by the passenger wheel to drain the cans contents it’s on a valve so easy to open and close come oil change times, or every over month and started to prep the mishoto oil cooler ready to install, but I haven’t got a -10an spanner so I can’t go any further doooh! also need to buy a big syringe or sucker to remove and store the coolant from the header tank so I can fit the new one again need to buy one so that’s still to fit -.-

Dal.
Just seen your update - re new wheels. Look awesome! Do the tyres look a bit stretched because the rim is 8.5" rather than the usual 8"? Did you need to fit spigot rings or do the alloys come in correct to the hub diameter? Thinking of getting some Pro Race 1.2 18x8 ET40 with 235.40.18 tyres so looking for inspiration! Thinking of getting some Pro Race 1.2 18x8 ET40 with 235.40.18 tyres so looking for inspiration! I used a 235/40/18 tyre as it’s the closest wheel diameter size to the stock to keep the speedo reading correctly, they should have either 245 or 255 really but means the rim diameter is larger causing an error on the speedo which I didn’t want there are specifically made for Ford Focus fitment only so they are perfect hub bore, pcd etc, so no need for rings i looked at them wheels and I liked them a lot but got offered these not cheap and they are one of a kind only set in the UK for a ford in this colour so I had to have them 🙂

CW1907
I followed your last build thread and this one! Both of them are brilliant in terms of the dedication and skill you've put in. IYO best place to get Ford badges and gels? Also I've tried to find some of the Rocco mudguards you've used previously but to no avail. Any suggestions? Yep I’m gutted but in all fairness the paint on them started to get stone chips anyway so they would of needed a referb, tracking doesn’t appear to be out at all it wasn’t at high speed and it was at a very acute angle I’ll get it checked tho, and no other damage thank god
zain611
Don't worry about the wheel. It's not a massive mark you'll see meters away 😉. I used to not like the kurb marks on my alloys but after clean them during a wash it comes out really nice. Good as well you got the car sealed. Did you get it detailed before having it ceramic coated? I've heard gyeon's ceramic coatings are good. Next year I might apply a ceramic coating from gtechniq on my car. Really should of done it a few weeks back when I machine polished it but sealents and waxes are also good. Can't wait to see the steering wheel. Will look like a factory upgrade.

Yh so the company had the car for a week, to fully decontaminate the car, machine polish and remove every imperfection then applied the coating and it looked immense better than factory fresh! It’s having its first clean this week so will report back on how well easy it was to clean

I just cleaned my car yesterday and I think it felt a little smooth when moving my wash mitt over the paint. I however used sealant and wax so a ceramic coating most probably will make a difference. Also be careful if your going to clean in this hot weather. I got a really bad headache yesterday standing outside cleaning the car. Also be careful not to get water / soap spots. Yh it’s amazing I’ve only cleaned a little bit with a hose and it just runs off, and it doesn’t water spot another wicked plus of having it, the water spots wipe off with a cloth new cleaning products for the ceramic coat came today New steering wheel fitted today
Jonro2009
Which dashcam are you running? Looks like a BlackVue but could be a ThinkWare. the car is looking mint mate, bet it turns a few heads! I’m not sure if it is the angles the have been taken from but I’m not swayed with the wheel. It looks like it has been done to an amazingly high standard, like all your mods but the top half just looks a little high, the space between the airbag and the top of the wheel looks vast. Like I said, could be the pictures giving a false perspective or it could be the green eyed monster inside of me lol
zain611
Really like the steering wheel. Doesn't stand out too much and can fool some people thinking it's factory. That's good to hear about the ceramic coating. Im wondering if all the panels on my car are beading water. Also can spot a scooby in one of the pictures lol
