  1. So it looks like its its the head Bypassed the egr cooler and heater matrix but still happened. So I sold the car today new owner said he just done his sons mondeo same symptoms and was the gasket.
  2. Hi everyone I am having trouble with my 09 1.8 tdci mondeo and hope someone can be of some help. It is building pressure in the radiator hoses, and losing coolant out of degas/expansion bottle sometimes. It is not overheating, and I have no white smoke from exhaust. I have no oil mixing with water or water mixing with the oil. I have removed thermostat and replaced the expansion bottle cap with new one from Ford. But it still happening Any help would be appreciated thanks

  7. I have only bought my car so didnt get time to check it over a pit. If you have use of a pit it is easy check. Have someone sit in the car started brakes one and in gear have them 'pop' the clutch so as to move engine you should be able to see or hear it. This has worked for me with other cars.   9. It has the electric hydraulic pump behind the front bumper with reservoir on top. Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
  10. If I'm not mistaken it is electric power steering. The pump should be behind the front bumper under the driver side head light
  11. Also when I try access Bluetooth via radio by pressing phone buttons all is does is mute the radio
  12. His is 09 also and yes via 4mm jack in glove box, I have pulled out the glove box and cable is connected to 4mm jack
  13. Thanks for the reply, I have removed glove box and found b/t module. Are there any fuses for bluetooth to work? Does the cd player have to be certain model (the aux input isnt working either, could this be related?) The phone is Samsung A5, I have connected this to my father in-laws Mondeo with no troubles
  14. I know you said you have checked wiring but have you checked wiring running from chassis to the door itself (pealed back the rubber sleeve and checked wires) It has happened to me on an audi before Hope this helps
