  1. Alright folks I have been planning to put a single seat in place of the bench seat in my mk7. I have sourced the base from the drivers side and was going to just try and get another drivers seat from another mk7. After looking at multiple seats that have holes, oil and dont know what else on them I have put it on hold. I was looking at Mondeo seats and bought mk3 mondeo seats but they are too narrow on the runners. I have been seeing more mk6's breaking than mk7. Do the mk6 front seats fit in a mk7? Are they comfortable? I want to get swivels at a later date. Any info will be grateful cheers Paul Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  2. So change of plan regarding the jag seats. I have got a set of mk3 mondeo st seats to use but the runners and the base don't line up, would I be able to use steel plate bolted to base and then runners bolted to plate, I done a mock up with ply to see if it would work and for a size comparison. What size of plate would need to be used, cheers Paul Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  3. Alright folks looking for some advice. I was out to get alternative seats for the transit and came across jag xtype seats, would these be an easy fit without too much modification, I don't weld and not got too many tools so I'm a bit limited to what I can do, any help would be grateful cheers Paul Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  4. Hi folks looking for some help/advice, I have a 2010 Transit lwb, I fitted a split charge relay and also a leisure battery. Yesterday I fitted a 160w solar panel and solar charge controller. On my way into work this morning I noticed my battery light was on, any ideas why? It hasn't came on before I fitted the solar. Cheers Paul Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
  5. Hi folks recently got a 2010 Transit crew van and planning to turn into a camper. After removing panels in rear and starting to do the insulation I found a wee plug tucked up in front of the right side wheel arch. I thought it could be a speaker wire so started following back to where I would want speakers. When following the loom I came across another plug with 3 wires, any help would be great Cheers Paul Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
