  1. Hello guys, I'm experiencing a creaking sound when I'm on the move and going through a bump or bumpy road and it definitely comes from the boot door. Any suggestions how to fix it or what could be the problem?
  2. Nope, I don't have neither sport suspension nor the "option" in the menu to change something on the car. Although I do have the ability to use the menu but its just for avg speed, l/km etc. I think on the MK2.5 it has electronic servo assistance so its easen by the "computer" beside the fluid.
  3. Hello, I have a 2006 MK2 Focus (EU) 1.4 petrol engine and I wonder can the servo fluids affect how hard is to turn the steering wheel? I mean the fluid wasn't changed since the car ran out from the factory and I find it a bit hard to turn compared to other servo-wheels, but the fluid level is O.K.
  4. Yep I thought so. 🙂 Thanks for your help mate!
  5. Hi folks, my local mechanic discovered a leak on the ac pipe which comes from the air conditioning compressor to condenser. I got the pipe and my question is can I replace it myself? Or does it need some lubricants or special oil or something? Or maybe it's best to leave it on a car mechanic?
  6. Thanks, guys, I give it a try with some tool combinations
  7. Its left hand drive. So I need to go from the pedals side not the glove box?
  8. I think there is a common issue with the instrument cluster too. Signs: - All possible error lights show up after a while - Car won't start only for force (hitting the dash slightly) - Acceleration issues What causes the issue: - The soldering of the connector at the back of the instrument cluster gets micro cracks around them Ford Service Cost: 800£ Actual Cost: Free if you have soldering kit or 10£ if you don't have How to fix: - Grab a magnifying glass and scout the cracks, then solder them
  9. Hello everyone, Can you help me I'm stuck. So, I took out the glove box and cleared the way to my pollen filter door, BUT, some kind of aluminium pipe goes across the way and I cannot take out the pollen filter door. Any idea what should I do? (The car has AC). Also I tried at the other side where the pedals are but without any success. There are three hex nuts holding the gas pedal, one at the bottom and two at the top, but I cannot reach the top ones. Any idea ? Thanks in advance!
