  1. Feature of the product I'm afraid. The fan runs all the time the aircon is in use except on those cars with climate control I believe.
  2. 45 to 46mpg from mine but not many town miles or short journeys and climate control always on auto (air con on)
  3. Used DAB all the time in my 66 plate Mk7.5 all over the country without any issues. Some occasional deadspots but 99% of the time its great. And now use it all the time in my 69plate mk8. I'd use Apple Carplay and Tidal more if I could get it to work properly but it doesn't.
  4. Used it once in 7000miles and not done again since. Totally dulls the responsiveness of the engine with very little benefit IMHO. Car currently settled at between 45 and 46mpg without ECO so pretty happy.
  5. But you are getting free breakdown / recovery included for that so not so bad in my mind and if you have anything wrong out of warranty then Ford are more likely to contribute to the costs of repair.
  6. If your car is still under warranty you may get the pads and discs replaced by Ford. Mine car was much younger than yours and the wear pattern not so obvious but Ford changed them.
  7. Have only used ECO mode once and that was by accident. It makes the car feel like a 100ps and I didn't notice any economy benefit tbh.
  8. Unfortunately one of my two Fiesta's has suffered a kerb impact today resulting in the writing off of a tyre and the damage shown to the rim. I'm looking to get the rim repaired and wondered if there was any experience / advice here including any recommendations for repairers in the south east. Thanks

  10. I've run several 1.25 engined Fiesta's over the years and never had any problems with them. They are not particularly economical and in my experience will struggle with a loaded car on motorway gradients. And quite a different beast to the ecoboost. On all the 1.25 engines I've run the ECU map doesn't seem to cope well with the air conditioning compressor load causing hesitation and loss of performance. "Feature of the product sir..."
  11. Mine seems to have an intermittent buzzy rattle coming from the glovebox area. Almost sounds like the sound of an electrical arc across the contacts of a switch or relay!!!!!
  12. Heading for 5000miles now and the economy seems to have settled at 45mpg with air con on all the time. I expect this to improve as the weather warms up again.
  13. I also like the LED headlights but feel that they are not as good as they could be and I find the auto high beam too slow to dip forcing me to override it. I think probably the suspension / Michelin PS4 tyre 17" combination is the best feature giving great control and just enough compliance.
  14. My car has now done coming up to 4000miles and on my daily commute of 9 miles each way on a twisty B road mine seems to have settled out at around 45mpg with the aircon on auto. I have seen averages in the low 50's on long slow motorway runs (50 to 60mph)
  15. Should have gone with the LED option 😉 But seriously I believe there are uprated bulbs available and there are threads here about them but the dip beam has a very sharp cutoff on the standard headlamps which even uprated bulbs won't get around.
