  1. Which hoses are they referring to? I’m not mechanically minded. I’ll have to take this into to the garage and they do it for me
  2. Hi guys i bought a Ford Fiesta Eco boost 1.0 100 on finance in the end of September 2019. The car was brand new (69plate) and is on finance. two weeks into me having it, a buzzing noise appeared when ever my car is on or around 2000 revs. The buzzing noise Predominantly comes from around the glovebox area at the passenger side and kind of where the dashboard is (left hand side mainly). The noise appears in all gears when at around 2000 revs i took it to the dealership for them to have it looked at but they said it’s nothing to worry about and is “a characteristic To ecoboost models”. I call bull****. It can’t be?! I wasn’t told of this, nor can I find it anywhere online and to me, a new car shouldn’t be buzzing at me. ive seen similar problems on the internet with other people and they’ve fixed it themselves. I’m notmechanically minded so I cannot do it myself. It just seems strange to me and I can’t see it been a characteristic. I think they’re trying to fob me off! T.I.A

  4. I wouldn’t even know where to start with all of that 😕
  5. I’ve rang them and it’s Booked in with them for the day. From what I’ve read, it’s happened a lot but people have managed to fix it. My car is only 4 week old and done 700 mile. It will be covered under warrantee anyway. very annoying tho. This shouldn’t happen, especially on a new car
  6. That’s strange. I’ve just bought a Brand new, Ford Fiesta St Line EcoBoost 100. Absolutely perfect for the first few day’s. but now, like wirh you, when I accelerate, By even a small amount, I have a buzzing noise which appears too! It isn’t loud, but it’s extremely annoying. I rang them up and mentioned it and they said it was a characteristic with the car. I feel like they’re trying to fob it off- or is it a genuine thing to happen? I’ve booked in for them to have a look at it anyway. surely this shouldn’t happen. You’d have thought so anyway
  7. Same here. I forget to use my 6th but the indicator reminds me. But I would’ve liked to have been able to turn it off!!
  8. YES. That was my next question ! The shift indicator keeps suggesting it all the time!!!& I’m like ‘SURELY NOT!?’. Is there a way of turning it off haha?
  9. I’ve also found the petrol seems to go down rapid too and my MPG isn’t matching what it says in the tin.
  10. Thank you for that reply, I really appreciate it. Woukd you also suggest to not ‘labour’ the engine in the first 1000 miles. As in the engine judders/ appears to struggle a little bit?
  11. Hi guys Im buying a Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost 100 on a 69 plate , some of you may have already seen that by my previous post. I would just like to know. Are you able to use the Eco option straight away? Or is it recommenced you drive at least 1000 miles to break the car in a little bit? ive seen and heard conflicting answers TIA
  12. Exactly what I thought. Doesn’t seem hard to put a sealed and locked cap on. You’d have thought so anyway.... Or even better, make it automatically lock once your car is locked!!
  13. Hi guys, recently bought a brand new fiesta st line 100 EcoBoost 1.0 and pick it up soon. I’ve been told about the east fuel system which they have. When you lock the car, does the fuel tank cap lock as well? if not, what if some vandals come along to try and syphen (not sure how to spell) or put foreign objects down into my fuel tank: as the fuel cap won’t lock! is this not an extremely bad design if not?& also, if it’s the case of “no it doesn’t lock”, can you buy fuel cap locks for it. If so, what locks would I be looking at? thank you
